O neoprene ecológico, feito de calcário e pneus reciclados, reduz o consumo de energia e as emissões de CO2 em 200g por fato. Conseguir el ajuste adecuado

Ceñido en todo el cuerpo, pero sin limitar tus movimientos. Debes sentir que el neopreno se adapta a tu cuerpo sin presionar los hombros ni comprimir el pecho hasta dificultar la respiración. Si no puedes respirar profundamente fuera del agua, prueba una talla más. Si sobra material en hombros o pecho, prueba una talla menos. Las bolsas de aire en la zona lumbar suelen indicar que necesitas un neopreno más largo, como una talla MT (Medium Tall), no una talla más pequeña.

Si estás entre dos tallas

Elige la talla más pequeña si vas a competir: un ajuste más ceñido permite aprovechar mejor la flotabilidad del neopreno y reduce la entrada de agua. Elige la talla más grande si priorizas la comodidad en sesiones largas de aguas abiertas o entrenamientos en los que vas a llevar el neopreno durante más tiempo.

Cómo ponértelo

Tómate tu tiempo, especialmente las primeras veces. Abre completamente la cremallera y dobla hacia abajo la parte superior del neopreno, dejando la cremallera en la espalda. Empieza por los tobillos y ve subiendo el neopreno poco a poco por las piernas, ajustándolo por secciones, sin tirar desde arriba.

Elimina las bolsas de aire a medida que avanzas, especialmente en la parte inferior de las piernas y la entrepierna, antes de subir el neopreno sobre el torso. Estirar los brazos hacia arriba ayuda a colocar correctamente las mangas. Utiliza siempre las yemas de los dedos, nunca las uñas.

El forro Silk-X facilita el proceso, pero ponerse un neopreno requiere algo de paciencia las primeras veces. Con el uso, se irá adaptando y resultará más fácil de poner.

Good for entry level, but struggled with durabilit

"Agile works well as a starting wetsuit if you are getting into open-water swimming, but long-term durability fell short for me. The material tore quite easily, particularly around the armpit and buttocks area. After just two summer seasons, the suit was essentially done and had to be replaced. To be fair, since this was my first wetsuit of this kind, some of the tears may have been down to my own learning curve in handling and putting on delicate neoprene. Still, replacing a suit after only two seasons wasn't ideal. It gets the job done as a accessible starter option, but you will need to handle it with extreme care to get good longevity out of it."

Entry Wetsuit great for beginner 70.3

"I bought the wetsuit to do my first triathlon (IM70.3). Wetsuit keeps warmth great and provided the right amount of buoyancy. I felt much more comfortable in open water wearing it. Size is comfortable, but not “pro race tight”. I’m 6’3”, 205lbs. The L was too tight to get over the shoulders. XL fits comfortable and is great for me. Could be tighter, but I’m in between sizes."

Q&A

I swim front crawl, is this the right type of wetsuit, the agile at £199, I like to be in the water for at least an hour, will this keep me war, for 1 -2 hours ?: All of our triathlon wetsuits are designed to support front crawl, with the exception of the Aspect Breaststroke wetsuit which has different buoyancy levels in the leg panels to accommodate the difference in the stroke. The duration of time you're able to spend in the water with this suit will depend on your own tolerance of water temperatures, so we're unable to advise whether this will keep you warm. Hi, I've got a Vanquish size XS which has got to the end of it's life. It fits well but on the size guide I come up as a S. When I bought the Vanquish I came up as a S and initially bought a S which was too big, had to return it and got XS instead. Should I get a S (which is what the size guide says) or a XS? Many thanks. I am looking at the agile ladies wetsuit. I am 134 lbs, height 5 foot 5.5 inches. Chest 36. I fit into the small/medium and medium sections of the size guide. Which would you suggest?
